Wow, what an experience. We've had a few ups and downs already but what a special blessing and bundle of joy we have! Thank God for such a special boy! Thank you to all who were praying for us during his week stay in the NICU. We couldn't have done it without God's help and the love and support of our friends and family. Love you all!

Megan Michelle::Owl Session

I know, I know, it's been WAY too long since my last blog post. Things have been crazy so I haven't had a chance to do much with my photography. As I'm sure most of you know, but Joe and I are expecting our first child here in a few weeks, so much of my time has been dedicated to making sure we're ready for him. :)

Here are the latest images of my bestest friends daughter, Megan Michelle. I just LOVE her owl outfit! It's adorable! Katie found it on Etsy.com. Enjoy!

THANK YOU to my bestest bestie, Katie Peterson, for taking these shots for me! It's a little hard to take pictures of myself so I got her setup with my equipment and set her loose. Great job for a first time behind a DSLR. Love you KT!!!

And for those of you who don't know already, Joe and I are expecting our first child November 12th, 2012! A baby boy which we'll name, Jared Michael. Stay tuned for more pictures of the developing nursery and, when the time arrives, our new lil one! :)

Even though he's suffering from a terrible sunburn, Joe still seemed to be his goofy self.

We picked up a baby lizard during the photoshoot. When trying to get him off Joe's shirt, he fell into my bag and decided he liked Jared's Cowboy boot. :)

By the time we got to this point we were getting tired and goofy, so while I tried balancing the baby blocks on my belly I kept laughing and knocking them over, which of course made me laugh all the more! I had a nice bright red face in this photo (also due to the fact it was over 100 degrees outside...).

This one is my favorite! :)

Finally got a chance to sort through the images taken for my bestest friend's beautiful new baby, Megan Michelle! Although we couldn't get very many poses out of her she still did well enough to get these cute shots. :)
