Studio Lighting

Well, here's my first attempt at creating my own studio lighting at home. The shoes are a pair of my favorite heel's, Steve Madden Purple Snake Skin. I accomplished these with two pieces of poster board (black for the backdrop and white as the base), a regular table adjustable lamp, and two flashlights (all lighting was covered with paper towels to diffuse the light a bit). So studio images can definitely be achieved with just basic household items and loads of creativity. :)

Ceramic Designs::Moore

Thank You, to the Moore family for opening their home to us!

Ceramic Designs::Parsons

The next several blog posts are shots of the Granite and Tile jobs done by Ceramic Designs, by Ron Green Inc. (Redding, CA). I could not have accomplished this task without the Gary Fong Lightsphere, thanks to Erika!

Well, I thought I didn't catch a photo of the half eaten apple Mrs. Parson, but apparently I did sneak one in. :)

Ceramic Designs::Womack House

So, thanks to Erika, I have a new toy to use for the granite/tile shots scheduled this Saturday for Ceramic Designs by Ron Green, Inc! A Gary Fong Lightsphere which I fell in love with and will be purchasing one soon. :) In the meantime, of course I had to practice so below are shots of my kitchen, granite so beautifully installed by Ceramic Designs, and please excuse the clutter. I collect Coca-Cola and of course there were dirty dishes that I didn't feel like cleaning up before experimenting... Enjoy!

Had to add a picture of my cat. :) He was just staring at me wondering what in the world I was doing...

And of course, the photographer in action. :)
