Multnomah & Wahkeena Falls, Oregon

Yesterday we finished our travel up to Washington. However we made a pit-stop to see the Multnomah & Wahkeena Falls. They were absolutely GORGEOUS! Below are the images I captured. Enjoy!

The only bummer was a large boulder fell from the falls and took a huge chunk out of the footbridge in January 2014. So they are in the middle of repairing the bridge which is the reason for the white covering...

This is the stream from the Wahkeena Falls. The falls were too far back to capture the full height of this one.

The Bee

I am sure enjoying this springish day today! Spent the majority of my day outside enjoying the fresh air, reading, listening to the birds and having fun with my family. I did some weed pulling and discovered all the bee's around one of my plants. So I grabbed my camera and started snapping away and ended up with this image below. :)

Macro Lilies

The youth group from our church surprised us last Tuesday night with a thank you card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers! So of course I had to practice getting more macro shots of the lilies. :)
Thank you guys!!

Christmas Day

Had a great time with my family on Christmas! We have both parents over at the house to open gifts starting between 10 and 11 in the morning. After presents we all start preparing for Christmas dinner, which we have around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. It's lots of fun!

Lucero always sends us a sampler gift for Christmas at Walker Printing. I love their packaging so I couldn't resist taking a shot of their bottles sitting on my kitchen counter. (By the way the lemon olive oil and balsamic vinegar sautéed with asparagus is amazing!)
